"I contacted Simon after suffering lower back problems for a while. I had been visiting a Chiropractor and whilst that helped I felt a more concentrated program and added motivation was required to strengthen my back. I have a physically demanding job and had previously enjoyed Mountain Biking, Running and Hiking pain free but began suffering after trying to do each. Simon helped re-establish stability firstly, with lots of Core exercises and then began to strengthen the different parts of my body to work together through weights and resistance. 'As an international modern pentathlete training for 5 disciplines (running, swimming, shooting, fencing and show jumping), I found it difficult to find time for strength and conditioning on top of my other training. Having Simon come to my house on a regular basis helps me keep in a routine. Simon pushes me harder than I might push myself if he wasn’t there! He is great at spurring me on and so I feel like I have got the most out of every session, I also feel that sessions stay varied and interesting as he has a good range of fitness equipment. "I started training with Simon off the back of an unsuccessful trail with Hull City FC. My main objectives, as highlighted by Hull City, was to improve my physical strength on the ball and acceleration. The training I undertake with Simon is very specific paying close attention to the weaknesses in my game and fitness for Football. He has fully reviewed my diet to ensure I am eating the correct foods to support the varied strength and speed training we do as well as ensure I am fully fuelled to compete in my weekend games. 6 months down the line and I am much stronger, fitter and faster. Having a PT visit you at home is a fantastic way of ensuring that you get off the sofa and do some (in my case weekly) exercise. I know that Simon is coming so even when I am not feeling up to it, we always train and invariably I feel much, much better afterwards. Simon is particularly good at sensing how far he can push me in each session, and using that to maximise the value of the time we spend together.


He has a tool kit full of ideas and bits of kit, I particularly like the Flowin mat (some don’t I hear) and when the weather permits bike rides and runs are included in the schedule.

He is extremely personable, has a great sense of humour, is very encouraging and can make me work much harder and acheive far more than I ever would on my own.
